The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair met personally to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two time world heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the novice continues to be one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
